Common questions
Is there a setup fee?
No mandatory setup fee. Onboarding and training are offered as optional services. You can self-onboard if you prefer and only pay the monthly subscription.
How do lookups work after the free 200?
Each yard gets 200 free DVLA/VIN lookups per month. Once you exceed the allowance, additional lookups are charged at £0.25 each, billed at the end of the month.
Why is eBay limited to 1 merchant per yard?
Each yard license includes one eBay merchant (OAuth) connection because eBay API access and rate limits are allocated per merchant account. If you need multiple eBay accounts per location, contact us.
What if I exceed 5,000 eBay API calls in a day?
The 5,000 daily call limit per yard is the eBay-imposed rate limit. In practice, most yards never hit it. If your listing volume is exceptionally high, we can discuss optimisation strategies.
Can I bring my own S3 storage?
Yes. YardPro supports connecting your own S3-compatible bucket (AWS S3, Backblaze B2, Wasabi, etc.). You manage your own storage costs and we store your media there instead of our default.
Are there per-user charges?
No. Invite as many team members as you need. Every user gets role-based access (6 role levels with 88 permissions) at no additional cost.
Is parts.yardpro.uk really free?
Yes. Every yard gets free listings on parts.yardpro.uk and a free company shop page with our default layout. If you want a custom-designed shop view, that's quoted as a one-off design fee like the custom website add-on.
What payment methods do you accept?
Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You can pay by credit/debit card. We show the ex-VAT, VAT, and inc-VAT amounts clearly before payment.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. No long-term contracts. Cancel before your next billing cycle and you won't be charged again. Your data remains accessible for 30 days after cancellation.
Do you offer a free trial?
We offer personalised demos where we walk you through the real platform with real data. Contact us to arrange one. We'd rather show you the actual product than give you a limited sandbox.
What about discounts for annual billing?
Contact us to discuss annual billing options. We're happy to offer favourable terms for committed partnerships.
How do I get an exact price for my operation?
